SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER

You will join an experienced team that develops and maintains various applications.

As a senior developer, you will take on a leading role, not only in execution but also in guiding colleagues. You safeguard technical quality and serve as a point of contact for technical questions. You help ensure sustainable architectural choices and contribute to a smooth development process.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining Java- and Angular-based applications
• Collaborating on technical designs, architecture, and code quality
• Guiding developers through mentoring, technical coaching, and code reviews
• Actively contributing to a smoothly operating Agile team (Scrum)
• Translating functional requirements into robust technical solutions
• Safeguarding best practices and test-driven development

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of proven experience in Java development
• In-depth knowledge of:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• Angular
• PostgreSQL
• RESTful services & API design
• Docker
• Git
• Experience with:
• Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
• Agile/Scrum, preferably also with test-driven development
• Strong in technical analysis and design
• Proven experience in technically guiding and coaching developers
• Dutch-speaking with good knowledge of English and/or French
