Senior Network Architect WAN Redesign and Upgrade

General:

In close collaboration with the Design and Engineering team of the Competence Center Airborne Equipment and Communication and Information Systems (CC V&C) in Peutie, you will work within the domain of network technology on the preparation and design phase of a major WAN redesign and upgrade. As Senior Network Architect, you play an essential role in realizing this project by providing technical expertise and support during the design and migration phase. You focus on network optimization and security, and contribute to building a scalable, reliable infrastructure. You are willing to work in a technically challenging and secure environment and to undergo a security clearance (at least national/EU confidential level).

Details:

  • You have demonstrable expertise in migrating an IP/MPLS network to segment routing and EVPN, using Nokia SR/SAR/PSS equipment.

  • You have extensive knowledge in the field of Quality of Service (QoS), enabling you to optimize network performance for various applications and user needs.

  • You possess a security clearance or are willing to obtain one, at least at national/EU confidential level.

  • Knowledge and experience with Cisco SD Access and Aruba SD branch are an advantage and can contribute to the flexibility of the network solutions.

  • You work accurately and in detail, ensuring all deliverables meet the high quality standards required by the project.

  • You can communicate and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and are able to clearly explain complex network technical concepts to various stakeholders.

  • You are able to adapt to changing technical requirements and environments, and are willing to learn and apply new tools and technologies.

  • Describe your most recent experience with Nokia IP/MPLS equipment
