The Federal Police wants to replace and renew several legacy applications and databases, according to the actual technology standards. These applications support the operational processes of the police; a seamless transition is crucial to guarantee operational business continuity.

The PM standardizes the program-related governance processes and facilitates the sharing of resources, budget, methodologies, tools, and techniques.

Responsibilities of the PM include:

• Strategic Alignment: Contribute to the execution of the digital transformation vision and strategy. Align the program with the GPI digital strategy and ensure the program contributes to the organisation objectives and priorities.
• Program Coordination: Manage the dependencies and relations among the projects in the program. Challenge and review the deliverables of the projects delivered by the integrator (e.g. scope, deliverables, resources, scheduling & planning of “project fiches”, “SOW”).
• Progress and Delivery Management: Monitor and report the progress of projects and the deliveries, follow up on milestones and planning.
• Contract Management of the integrator: Follow up and negotiate on contract execution. Document contract execution, negotiate end of program hand-over and contract closure. Consult and collaborate with procurement and legal expertise.
• Stakeholder Management: Manage the relations with stakeholders, provide regular updates and communication on program execution and contractual aspects.
• Budget Management: Coordinate with the Financial Manager and PMO the overall budget – allocation (purchase orders), spending (invoicing) and forecast.
