As a Solution architect, you ensure that the architecture of the IT system and landscape continues to evolve. You assist and support the development teams to deliver quality according to the objectives of the client and product management. You make the architectural vision understandable and applicable for the teams. You clarify the value and functioning of models, standards, and patterns, and you support their implementation.

Specifically, you design technical solutions for the evolution of the current application and integration architecture towards a cloud-based environment. To do this, you correctly capture the business requirements and align them with the IT vision and strategy. All this takes place within a SAFe-oriented DevOps organization, within an evolving architect role from decision-maker to decision-enabler.

Diploma and experience:

• Master’s degree or equivalent through experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a hands-on application architect
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an enterprise architect (linking business and IT)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an Agile architecture environment (SAFe – Scaled Agile Framework)
• Business knowledge of the Belgian social status of the self-employed, with a focus on pension calculation, is a plus.

Soft skills:

• Achieves results autonomously and responsibly
• Can discuss at a strategic level with C-level as well as very practically with the development teams (developers, testers, ...)
• Team player: as a servant leader, stimulates co-creation to achieve a widely supported solution

Language skills:

Dutch or French is the native language. The candidate must be able to communicate fluently in the other national language (both orally and in writing). Reading and understanding English texts is essential.
