Solution Architect - senior

Location: Melle

As part of our ICT architecture activities, we are looking for a Solution Architect within the Corporate Domain (subdomains: Financial Management, Human Resources, ICT, Communication, Supply Chain & Facility Management, Customer, Steering & Transformation). This person will strengthen the existing ICT architecture team at Fluvius, act as a Solution Architect within projects and product teams, and report to the internal Domain Architect. The main focus will be on the subdomains of Finance and ICT, but may also extend more broadly depending on needs.

Within the domain of Finance and ICT, we are seeking support from a Solution Architect, specializing in application, data, and integration architecture. This person will be responsible for the architectural management and organization of the subdomains. This includes designing architectures to optimize the relevant ICT architecture landscape by integrating old and new (purchased/built) components into a coherent and collaborative whole. The focus is on composable, cost-conscious architectures and an incremental approach toward the desired target architecture.

Skills (must haves)

• Demonstrable experience with architectural work within cloud environments such as Azure and the corresponding technologies, paradigms, and best practices
• Demonstrable experience with designing and modeling integrations (APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, ...) - Senior (5.00 years)
• Strong experience with data architecture, including data modeling, data flows, and data platforms - Senior (5.00 years)
• Demonstrable experience as Solution Architect in an architecture environment with SAP as a key foundation - Medior (3.00 years)
• Demonstrable experience with architectural work within cloud environments such as Azure and the corresponding technologies, paradigms, and best practices - Senior (5.00 years)
• Demonstrable experience with at least one of the following corporate subdomains such as Finance, ICT, Communication, or general corporate services - Medior (3.00 years)
• Demonstrable knowledge of Accounting and SAP FICO (also in S4H)
• Demonstrable experience in the Belgian energy sector (Nice to have)
• Demonstrable experience as data architect in multiple projects with complex data architecture challenges - Senior (5.00 years)
• Demonstrable experience as Solution Architect - Senior (5.00 years)
• Demonstrable experience as Solution Architect in a similar environment
• Demonstrable experience in a comparable business context (number of users > 5000)
• Demonstrable experience with the various application communication layers
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of modeling techniques (Archimate, Togaf, UML, Sparx EA, LeanIX)
• The candidate can demonstrate during an interview that they possess communicative clarity and customer-oriented problem-solving skills during interactions
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR level C2.
