The senior technical analyst is responsible for:

1. understanding and discussing the business analysis, and, with the help of the architect, lead developer, and service manager, coordinating the intake process.

2. He/she translates business analyses into functional and (especially) technical analyses, intended for the development and testing teams. To do this, particular attention is paid to the SPF’s digitalization principles, user comfort, coordination with testers and developers, and achievable steps. He/she defends his/her analysis in the agile refinement ceremony.

3. He/she must ensure that the client has a realistic vision of the deliverables, that the developer has a complete understanding of the requirements to be implemented and the technical modalities of their implementation, and that the tester can clearly identify the elements to be validated, based on business and technical acceptance criteria. As a result, he/she produces a number of “sprintable” tickets/cards, meaning acceptable for the developers and deliverable in a sprint (three weeks).

4. In case of a production issue or User Acceptance Test problem, the analyst takes part in defining the issue and the fixes.

Way of working:

The analyst must take responsibility for the qualification of test datasets and contribute to diagnosing application issues. The analyses produced must be aligned with the interface specifications and the architectural strategy of our SPF. Depending on needs, the senior functional analyst may be entrusted with management responsibilities, whether for coordinating a team or managing a project. This role is part of an Advanced Technical Context and requires proven comfort in a complex technological ecosystem.

An essential component of the role is anticipation, organizational flexibility, and inter-team communication.

Project:

The analyst will participate in a strategic project to rewrite a monolithic application (and integrate modules developed outside ICT) into a structure theorized in micro-services. This application is comparable to a banking application (management of payments, accounts, and reimbursements) but also to accounting management. The analyst will join one of the following priority groups:

• accounting management
• transaction and order management
• rules management
• interface management
