SERES Project Manager
As a public transport operator active in the Walloon territory, TEC – short for "Transport En Commun" – is one of the main players in Mobility and in economic, social, and sustainable development in Wallonia.
With its 5,700 employees and the 120 professions they practice, TEC is a committed company whose members all share a common project: to improve, every day, the performance, user-friendliness, and sustainability of the public transport offer, which currently consists of nearly 2,500 buses and trams for the 778 TEC lines crisscrossing Wallonia.
Mission
A portion of the journeys carried out within LETEC are subcontracted to private companies selected through public procurement. In order to monitor the execution and invoicing of these services, the SERES department relies on two major applications, namely Comet and SAP. Recent adaptations to market conditions require modifications to these applications to continue supporting the people responsible for this work.
The mission consists of monitoring this project by coordinating the development teams as well as the SAP teams, in close coordination with the business team in charge.
The project manager's mission will consist of
- Participating in and assisting with the definition of the scope, schedule, and budget of the projects for which they will be responsible
- Ensuring end-to-end management of the projects, from partner selection through to go-live, which will include, among other things:
- Organizing and leading meetings, including steering committees
- Monitoring project activities and deliverables
- Managing internal and external project communication with internal stakeholders
- Organizing and coordinating change management
- Communicating with the IT functional analyst, the business, and any possible service providers
Profile
- You have at least eight years of experience in project management
- You have expertise in the following areas:
- You are able to manage a project completely autonomously
- You position yourself in a support role to help the business structure itself, define its needs, and formalize them in writing
- You propose a project strategy by defining its scope, schedule, sourcing strategy, and budget
- You have perfect command of French, both spoken and written
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The mission will be carried out mainly on site in Namur. However, the candidate must be flexible and may need to travel to our various Business Units located throughout Wallonia to meet with certain business teams (expenses are included in the proposed rate).
Consultancy days are 8 hours. Two fixed telework days are possible.
The start of the workday must be between 7:30 am and 9:00 am, lunch must be taken between 11:45 am and 2:00 pm, and the end of the workday must be between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm. As a result, presence during the time slots of 9:00 am – 11:45 am and 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm must be respected.
