Service Desk agent
Your mission?
- You are responsible for the availability of the service desk 1st line by answering incoming calls, calls via the portal, and email.
- You handle complex incident and request tickets from internal employees.
- You provide internal customers with both telephone and onsite support concerning hardware & software issues.
- You analyze reported malfunctions and change requests relating to computers and applications.
- You set your own priorities using the Service Management Tool, taking into account the applied ITIL processes.
- You ensure relevant, high-quality, and timely communication so that the level of service remains high.
- You participate in an innovative and constructive way in the Service Support team meetings.
- Together with your team, you ensure that the set targets are achieved.
- You call in the help of 2nd and 3rd line in a timely manner to prevent escalations.
Job for you?
- You are highly customer-oriented.
- You have a strong interest in ICT and have previous 1st or 2nd line Service Desk experience.
- You have knowledge of networks, telephony, Windows, Citrix at an administrative level, and ITIL methodologies.
- You have an excellent written and spoken command of Dutch, French, and English.
- You work fluently with MS Office programs.
- You like to take initiative, work solution-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
- You organize your work independently, without losing sight of supporting colleagues.
- Administrative tasks do not deter you.

Thanks to the Service Desk of the IT department, every VDFin employee can turn to a customer-friendly & helpful colleague with know-how about VDFin software and hardware.
Working hours: fixed schedule between 8am – 5pm, always Mon to Fri (every day at the office)
