Service Desk agent
Your mission?
- You are responsible for the accessibility of the service desk 1st line by handling incoming calls, calls via the portal, and email.
- You handle complex incident and request inquiries from internal employees.
- You provide internal customers with telephone and onsite support regarding hardware & software issues.
- You analyze reported malfunctions and change requests related to computers and applications.
- You set your own priorities using the Service Management Tool, taking into account the applied ITIL processes.
- You ensure relevant, high-quality, and timely communication so that the level of service remains high.
- You participate in the Service Support team meetings in an innovative and constructive manner.
- Together with your team, you ensure that the set targets are achieved.
- You timely call for the help of 2nd and 3rd line so that escalations can be prevented.
Job for you?
- You are highly customer-oriented.
- You have a strong interest in ICT and have previous 1st or 2nd line Service Desk experience.
- You have knowledge of networking, telephony, Windows, Citrix at administration level, and ITIL methods.
- You possess excellent written and spoken knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
- You can work fluently with MS Office programs.
- You like to take initiative, work solution-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.
- You organize your work independently, without losing sight of supporting colleagues.
- Administrative tasks do not scare you.

Your department, the VDFin IT Service Desk, provides IT support to internal employees of VDFin in Leuven and Erps-Kwerps, according to the established service levels. Thanks to the Service Desk of the IT department, every VDFin employee can rely on a customer-friendly & helpful colleague, with know-how about VDFin soft- and hardware.
Schedule: fixed schedule between 8 AM – 5 PM, always Monday to Friday (every day at the office)
