Solution Architect

Position

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to guide the development and design of secure, scalable, and innovative systems at RIZIV (National Institute for Sickness and Disability Insurance). You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of major projects in public health.

You will be part of an ICT organization with more than 250 professionals and over 50 active projects. Within a strategic transformation towards a cloud-native ecosystem (Azure, containers, confidential computing, Infrastructure-as-Code), you will define standards, guide system integrations, and promote the adoption of emerging technologies such as AI and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Define software architecture according to functional and technical requirements;
  • Select appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks (.NET stack);
  • Prepare architectural documentation, guidelines, and blueprints;
  • Provide technical leadership to development teams through coaching and mentoring;
  • Design system integrations (APIs, external services, legacy systems);
  • Safeguard non-functional requirements (performance, security, availability);
  • Develop prototypes and technical proof of concepts;
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
  • Ensure software quality, security standards, and compliance;
  • Continue to innovate and apply technological trends in practice.
