Within the Service Public de Wallonie-Digital, you will take on the role of solution architect led by the Integrated Application Service Center Redevable (CS AIR) of SPW Digital on behalf of SPW Finances. The main activity will involve the architecture of an IT solution for the regional takeover program for registration duties and inheritance taxes (DES).

Context

As an Information System architect, you will strengthen the team of architects at CS AIR while being dedicated to the DES Program and activities in the tax domain. You will primarily interact with business units, analysts, and development teams to architecturally frame the developments and evolutions of the Information System and document architectural decisions.

You will work in close collaboration with the team responsible for coordinating and overseeing transversal IT tax activities.

You will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team established for the program context.

Essential criteria for successful completion of the mission

The activities of the Information System architect will include, among others:

• Accompany the DES program at the architectural level and support the program management team in technical decisions and development strategies.
• Understand and assimilate the descriptions of functional and non-functional business process and requirements that will be produced during the analysis phase.
• Design modular and well-integrated solutions that meet these needs. Identify, define, organize, and model the components comprising these solutions to maximize efficiency and agility and minimize development and maintenance costs.
• Model solutions within the SPW Digital architectural repository and communicate them as architecture dossiers to the teams in charge of development. Act as an advisor and controller towards these teams.
• Define and promote the use and respect of standards. Determine how to evolve the application landscape when standards change or when certain technologies become obsolete. Promote innovative solutions whenever possible.
• Ensure optimal technical integration of new components and new technologies to maintain or improve the coherence, performance, and security of the information system.
• Ensure, in connection with coordinators and project managers, the architectural follow-up of various projects resulting from your work.
• Be able to participate in the development and compliance of the enterprise architecture and a holistic vision of the information system. Propose a coherent set of reusable cross-functional services, in compliance with SOA principles (standardized contract, loose coupling, abstraction, reusability, etc.).
• Supervise a code review audit mission of java code and architectural components.
