Solution Engineer – Agile/Scrum Delivery Master, niveau expert

The Commissariat General for Refugees and Stateless Persons is a federal independent administration. The mission of the CGRS is to provide protection to individuals who, upon return to their country of origin, risk persecution or serious harm. In accordance with Belgian, European, and international standards, the CGRS examines each application for international protection in an individual, objective, and impartial manner.

Within the CGRS, a modernization trajectory has been launched, translated within the eDossier program. This is a very ambitious program, consisting of several projects, with a very tight schedule. To further shape and develop the program, we are looking for strong profiles who are willing to commit temporarily (fixed-term contracts, immediately terminable, extendable upon positive evaluation) until delivery, scheduled at least until the end of 2027.

One of the profiles we are looking for is a Solution Engineer – Scrum/Agile Delivery Master, expert level (+10 years of experience). We are not looking for an agile coach. We are looking for a solution engineer with a Java cloud engineering background and with very strong recent experience as a scrum/agile delivery master. You will join an initiative that is already underway, which presents a major challenge. A description of the tasks and required competencies can be found below. You will form a team with very experienced, highly competent, and motivated individuals. The team consists entirely of expert profiles.

If you feel addressed by the core mission of the CGRS and you match the tasks and requested competencies, do not hesitate to apply.

Anyone looking for a purely lead and/or purely advisory role, please refrain. The emphasis is on hands-on coordination, follow-up, adjustment, design, and implementation. Those looking for 4 days of telework will also be disappointed with us. To promote team spirit, we ask you to be present at the office 3 days a week. Our offices are located next to Brussels South station.
