ROLE

As a Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach / PM you guide multiple functional and technical teams in applying and strengthening Agile work methods. You combine facilitating Scrum ceremonies with coaching teams, product owners, and stakeholders. Thanks to your strong technical background, you understand both the content complexity and the organizational challenge of software and engineering projects.

You act as a link between development, product stakeholders, and management. You strengthen team autonomy, safeguard transparency, stimulate predictable delivery, and support the organization in a broader Agile transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Scrum Master of NxtPort teams: Functional team, Applications development teams (2 or 3), Infra team, Delivery Quality Assurance team.
• Agile Coach: increasing NxtPort Agile Maturity with the goal of improving the predictability of deliveries and optimizing capacity utilization. Includes expanding the existing scrum operations with the functional team, focusing on capacity management and insights for operational and management steering both within the existing quarterly planning and across quarterly plannings.
• PM: steering towards the realization of concrete projects from the established Technical roadmap in collaboration with the solution architect, scheduling the required capacity for realization on scrum boards in consultation with the dev team lead.
• Facilitating Scrum ceremonies and stimulating continuous improvement within multiple teams.
• Coaching engineers, product owners, and management in Agile principles, ownership, and collaboration.
• Coordinating delivery activities such as resource planning, budget follow-up, and risk management.
• Supporting backlog management, sprint planning, and roadmap development.
• Improving transparency and alignment via tools such as Azure DevOps & Confluence.
• Facilitating PI-planning and collaborating in a multi-team environment.
• Guiding onboarding of new team members and strengthening team structures in a complex and challenging maritime context.

PROFILE

The ideal candidate has:

• Extensive experience as Scrum Master, Agile Coach & PM in technical development and operational environments.
• Demonstrable background in software development, e.g., as engineer, architect, team lead, or product owner.
• Strong coaching skills, with focus on collaboration, ownership, open feedback, and delivery rhythm.
• Experience with multi-team coordination (e.g., cross-functional teams, distributed teams, international).
• Experience with scaling methodologies such as SAFe, Nexus, or multi-team Scrum.
• Strong communication skills and smooth stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro or comparable tools.
• The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with complex technical products (e.g., hardware-software integration).

ADDED VALUE

• Certifications such as PSM I/II, SAFe SSM, SAFe Practitioner, or equivalent.
