JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating operational ICT processes, projects, schedules, and priorities, as well as coaching and leading the ICT group. Additionally, the position includes managing and aligning the associated administration, identifying and addressing risks, and monitoring overall ICT operations, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of company objectives.

The ICT Coordinator acts as a central link between various IT teams and stakeholders and maintains an overview of ongoing activities, changes, and projects. The role mainly includes coordinating, analytical, and organizational responsibilities rather than hands-on technical tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading, coaching, and directing the group, composed of internal and/or external staff, with the aim of optimizing ICT operations and coordinating projects and operational processes.
• Providing the necessary reports on this to management.
• Giving general guidelines in line with company objectives.
• Monitoring the quality of completed tasks and the commitment and productivity of employees, and making adjustments if necessary.
• Responsible for internal organization and short- and long-term planning and resulting tasks, setting priorities, monitoring budgets, and managing administration to achieve departmental objectives.
• Drawing up, monitoring, and adjusting operational planning.
• Discussing and following up on activities.
• Ensuring that activities are carried out within the allocated budget.
• Coordinating projects and requests for changes that come in via the servicedesk and aligning these with the relevant teams.
• Following up on requests for changes to existing applications and systems.
• Monitoring lifecycle processes and ensuring correct adherence to procedures and standards.
• Analyzing problems and determining which solutions are already available or need to be further developed.
• Monitoring and managing activities.
• Coordinating, managing, monitoring, and reporting on processes, projects, and the use of materials and resources within the area of responsibility, with the aim of ensuring safety and efficiency of processes in accordance with applicable standards.
• Analyzing and adjusting processes and monitoring team efficiency.
• Acting as process owner during inspections and audits.
• Supporting and coordinating ICT projects.
• Addressing problems and proactively aiming to avoid them in order to meet established standards and expectations.
• Preparing and checking instructions, files, and other administrative documents.
• Proactively initiating and coordinating improvement proposals.
• Responsible for aligning ICT projects within GPMO operations.

PROFILE

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar coordinating ICT role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Able to set priorities and maintain oversight.
• Mature personality with strong social skills.
• Strong IT affinity and insight into operational ICT processes.
• Knowledge of French is an asset.

WORK LOCATION

• Main location: Dessel
• Occasional meetings in Brussels
