Purpose of the position

The position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining user-friendly, high-performance, and secure frontend applications within a React environment in order to guarantee a stable and modern user experience and thus optimally support business processes and end users.

Result areas

• Contributing to the renewal of hardware and/or software components and performing the necessary functional or technical analyses with the aim of meeting the needs of end users and the company.
• Managing and monitoring technical needs within frontend applications
• Advising on technology choices (React, UI frameworks, tooling)
• Designing solutions with a focus on user experience and frontend architecture

• Translating functional needs into user-friendly interfaces

• Developing or determining the technical requirements for, as well as implementing, new hardware or software and applications to provide a high-quality set of equipment and applications.

• Developing frontend applications with React
• Working according to Agile methodology using Azure DevOps
• Integrating frontend components with APIs and backend services

• Using Git for version control

• Monitoring, maintaining, testing, and securing the IT infrastructure and/or software applications to ensure a high degree of reliability, safety, and usability for end users.

• Performing unit and integration testing
• Applying frontend security best practices
• Safeguarding performance, accessibility, and user experience

• Maintaining high-quality and stable frontend components

• Maintaining data structures and/or system settings, providing a high-performance environment for data management, and ensuring backups of user files in order to guarantee the accuracy of business data and to be able to quickly restore them in case of loss or damage.

• Working with data from APIs and backend systems
• Ensuring correct processing and presentation of data

• Supporting data integration within frontend applications

• Analyzing, solving, and following up on application or network-related problems in order to restore the operation of these applications or networks.

• Debugging frontend issues
• Providing second-line support

• Proactively avoiding production problems

• Formulating proposals for renewal and optimization of the activity domain in order to meet current and future (business) needs.

• Proposing improvements in frontend architecture and development practices
• Keeping up with developments within the React ecosystem

• Promoting usability, accessibility, and performance

• Safeguarding knowledge and keeping data and documentation up to date for your own area of expertise as well as communicating the information in order to maintain a correct and complete overview of all available components and applications throughout their entire lifecycle.

• Medior profile (±2–3 years of experience)
