Purpose of the position

The position is responsible for supporting development processes and managing deployment, release, and infrastructure processes in order to ensure a stable, secure, and scalable IT environment.

Areas of results

• Contribute to the renewal of hardware and/or software components and carry out the necessary functional or technical analyses with the aim of meeting the needs of end users and the company.
• Coordinate with stakeholders regarding
  ALM processes and infrastructure choices
  Advise on
  Azure and deployment strategies
  Co-develop scalable environments
• Develop or determine the technical requirements for, as well as implement, new hardware or software and applications in order to provide a high-quality set of equipment and applications.
• Basic development in
  .NET (supporting role)
  Integrate solutions within existing systems
• Collaborate with development teams
• Monitor, maintain, test, and secure the IT infrastructure and/or software applications with the aim of ensuring a high degree of reliability, security, and user-friendliness for end users.
• Set up and manage
  CI/CD pipelines
  Manage
  release management processes
  Safeguard stability, security, and compliance
• Maintain data structures and/or system settings, provide a high-performance environment for data management, and ensure backups of user files with the aim of guaranteeing the correctness of business data and enabling rapid recovery in case of loss or damage.
• Implement
  Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  Manage Azure environments
• Support deployment and configuration
• Analyze, resolve, and follow up on application- or network-related issues with the aim of restoring the operation of these applications or networks
  Troubleshooting within pipelines and deployments
• Collaborate with external partners in case of incidents
• Proactively improve processes
• Formulate proposals for renewal and optimization within the activity domain in order to meet current and future (business) needs.

  Optimize CI/CD and release processes
• Introduce best practices in ALM
• Safeguard knowledge and keep information and documentation up to date for one's own area of expertise, as well as communicate information in order to maintain a correct and complete overview of all available components and applications throughout the entire lifecycle.

• Share knowledge with internal teams and partners
• Standardize working methods
