At SPW, the management of transversal software solutions is organized within service centers. The CSGD (Centre de Services en Gestion de Dossiers) is responsible for managing technical platforms, implementing, and monitoring the service catalogs of several software solutions.

The objectives of the CSGD are as follows:

1. Set up the necessary human resources to develop case management solutions and offer services to business units

2. Improve the quality of services offered to business units by aligning with SPW’s digitalization strategy

3. Increase its efficiency by reducing the delivery timelines and the services provided.

At the end of 2017, the transversal Pega platform, used in the context of case management (ACM = Adaptive Case Management), was deployed within SPW. The CSGD is in charge of the implementation and monitoring of services related to Pega.

The missions of the CSGD address a digitalization objective (digital transformation, IT-business collaboration, agility, use of authentic data, development of internal skills, reuse and transversality of solutions, etc.).

More concretely, specific context and purpose of this mission:

Several business applications are developed/configured within Pega:

• SAMPO: backoffice management of financial aid granted to citizens and companies
• SCARA: backoffice management of administrative road and environmental sanctions
• SOLUCE: backoffice management of reports submitted based on the provisions of the new Soil Decree
• PROXIM-IT: backoffice management of accreditations for service voucher companies

These business applications are based on a transversal foundation called ORION. This foundation manages the common functionalities between these business applications, the integrations/connectors to different systems (ESB, GED, IAM, etc.), and the transversal UI layer supported by a UI portal.

The ACM team currently consists of functional analysts, an ACM architect, Pega developers, UI/UX experts, scrum master, project managers, testers, and a service center manager.

An Agile approach, based on Scrum, has been defined and contextualized internally and is currently used by business projects.

The purpose of the mission is to temporarily strengthen, on demand, the ORION team as Technical Architect Pega.

This is a mission of approximately twenty days, spread over 2026.

Activities and deliverables of the Pega consultant:

• Upgrade Pega to version Pega Infinity 24.1 and 24.2, and higher, in our Kubernetes sandbox environment
• Document the actions carried out to enable internal teams to perform these deployments independently
• Provide support and expertise to the transversal foundation team and to the teams in charge of the business applications, for ad hoc requests regarding Pega PRPC, Deployment Manager, PDC, or specifics related to Kubernetes hosting
• Collaborate with internal teams (infrastructure, networks, security, etc.)
• Anticipate dependencies (e.g., infrastructure) and blocking points and communicate them to the SPW team
• Calibrate the environments to meet performance and scalability requirements
• Be able to adapt to SPW’s practices and standards while considering them in the recommendations and documentation produced
