Technical Coordinator / Incident & Problem Manager

The business unit BILOC is responsible for all projects that are closely or remotely related to local police work. This includes the development and support of applications designed to facilitate these tasks, such as ISLP, which allows the drafting and management of reports, as well as FOCUS, which allows field police officers to perform a whole series of tasks from their phone or tablet.

FOCUS enables mobile work via smart device. Operations that can be performed in this way range from simply sending a message to colleagues, to a complete search on a person, a place, a company, etc. All this also includes viewing ongoing incidents and locating intervention units, among many other things. FOCUS evolves year after year.

FOCUS is currently managed within the business unit by a team of business analysts. In order to provide more versatile support for our application, we are looking for a coordinator who:

  • will act as a technical manager to support our Business analysts.
  • will ensure the follow-up of tickets related to the application, prioritize them, dispatch them and monitor their proper execution.
  • will manage incidents (investigate, find the problem, coordinate the resolution and communicate if necessary).
  • will plan releases.
  • will perform compatibility tests between the application and the infrastructure.
  • will organize regular meetings with the company that develops the software.
  • will coordinate interactions between the different DRI departments that have a role to play within the FOCUS suite.
  • will prepare and participate in the FOCUS steering committee.
