The Federal Police has started building an organization-wide approach to Data Excellence. This initiative aims to manage data in a structured, transparent, and sustainable manner, so that data can be maximally utilized for operational support, policy-making, reporting, innovation, and artificial intelligence. Efforts include the implementation of a data governance framework, the definition of data domains, the introduction of roles such as Data Owner and Data Steward, the development of metadata and data management processes, and the strengthening of data and AI literacy within the organization. Achieving these ambitions requires both governance and technical expertise. This position is part of the development of technical expertise.

Mission

The Technical Data Management Consultant supports the technical implementation of data management practices and ensures that metadata, data quality, lineage, and governance information are integrated within the technical data environment.
