Technical Lead Microsoft 365

Job Description: Microsoft 365 Consultant

Main Mission

We are looking for an expert Microsoft 365 consultant with an excellent knowledge of the tool, its configuration, and its administration. The consultant will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive audit of the configuration and use of various Microsoft 365 services, and for proposing strategic solutions to optimize their use within our organization.

Responsibilities

  1. Audit and Analysis:

  2. Conduct a comprehensive audit of the current Microsoft 365 configuration to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.

  3. Perform a detailed assessment of Microsoft Intune to ensure its proper configuration and usage.

  4. Evaluate Microsoft Defender to verify its configuration and effectiveness.

  5. Review and analyze the current use of Microsoft 365 licenses to optimize their allocation and usage.

  6. Audit the use of Microsoft Teams, including telephony, to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.

  7. Planning and Strategy:

  8. Develop a roadmap for optimizing Microsoft 365, taking into account the specific needs of the organization.

  9. Design a support plan for IT management to facilitate the transition and adoption of best practices.

  10. Develop a training and support program for end users, to maximize the efficient use of Microsoft 365 tools.

  11. Develop strategies for the optimal use of Microsoft Teams, including the implementation of integrated telephony solutions.

  12. Configuration and Administration:

  13. Ensure optimal configuration of Microsoft Intune for device and mobile application management.

  14. Oversee the configuration and management of security policies with Microsoft Defender.

  15. Set up monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track the performance and security of Microsoft 365 services.

  16. Configure and administer Microsoft Teams, optimizing its use for internal communications, collaboration, and telephony.

  17. Support and Training:

  18. Provide advanced technical support to the IT team and end users.

  19. Organize training sessions and workshops to enhance user skills on Microsoft 365 tools.

  20. Train users and administrators on advanced features of Microsoft Teams, including meetings, collaboration, and telephony.

  21. Continuous Improvement:

  22. Propose continuous improvements based on feedback and evolving organizational needs.

  23. Stay informed about new features and updates in Microsoft 365 to integrate them into company practices.

  24. Security and Compliance:

  25. Ensure that configurations and practices comply with security standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

  26. Collaborate with the security team to implement robust and appropriate security policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the administration and configuration of Microsoft 365.

  • Mastery of Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft 365 license management.

  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

  • Ability to develop concrete strategies and action plans for optimizing Microsoft 365 tools.

  • In-depth knowledge of best practices in security and compliance.

  • Ability to train and support IT teams and end users.

  • Demonstrated competence in the configuration and administration of Microsoft Teams, including management of telephony and collaboration features.

  • Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert

  • Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate

  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

Additional Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of complementary Microsoft 365 services such as SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.

  • Experience in managing migration projects to Microsoft 365.

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900) certification is a plus.

Collaboration and Development

  • Work closely with our current Microsoft 365 administrator, bringing new perspectives and innovative ideas to improve existing configurations.

  • Ensure O365 skills transfer.

  • Foster a collaborative and constructive work environment, where knowledge sharing and continuous learning are valued.

Remarks

  • The candidate must possess the minimum required skills and experience (roles/skills).

  • The candidate must have perfect command of the French language, both spoken and written.

  • The assignment will be carried out mainly on-site in Namur on a full-time basis.

  • The candidate must be flexible and may be required to travel to our various business units located in Wallonia to meet with certain departments.

  • Consulting days are 8 hours.

Two fixed teleworking days are possible.

Monday cannot be worked remotely; on-site presence is required.

  • Except in agreement with the team manager, working hours must correspond to the same hours as internal employees, namely:

  • The start of the day must be between 7:30 am and 9:00 am, lunch break must be taken between 11:45 am and 2:00 pm, and the end of the working day must be between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

  • As such, presence slots from 9:00 am to 11:45 am and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm must be respected.
