Technical Writer /

The TEC has chosen to adopt the CYFun framework to structure its document governance and strengthen the coherence of its technical environment.

As part of this initiative, we are looking for an experienced Technical Writer, both rigorous on the technical side and with excellent interpersonal skills.

Their role: to produce and structure clear, reliable, and dynamic documentation, while promoting collaboration between different teams (Infra, Dev, Security).

The objective is to professionalize document management and relieve technical experts, by guaranteeing a high level of quality and traceability.

Main Missions

  • Write, organize, and maintain technical documentation in the areas of Infrastructure, Development, and Cybersecurity, in line with the CYFun framework.
  • Structure and optimize the existing documentation process (organization, metadata, tags, structure, dashboards), without starting from scratch.
  • Contribute to the implementation of document governance based on CYFun best practices and adapted to the TEC environment.
  • Collect and synthesize technical information from internal teams (Dev, Infra, SecOps, etc.), through existing documentation, interviews, and workshops.
  • Ensure the updating, consistency, and quality of technical content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with different teams to understand technical systems, processes, and tools.
  • Ensure continuous updating and traceability of documentation.
  • Define editorial standards (terminology, formats, versioning, access management) according to the CYFun framework.
  • Guarantee the compliance of produced documents with CYFun requirements (organization, confidentiality, security, distribution).
  • Promote a documentation culture within the teams through support, templates, and guidelines.

Profile Sought

  • Perfect command of French (syntax, clarity, precision) and good understanding of technical English.
  • Proven experience (5 years or more) in technical writing in a demanding IT or technological environment.
  • Very good knowledge of the CYFun framework.
  • Strong skills in analysis, simplification, and structuring of technical information.
  • Knowledge or practice of process modeling (BPMN 2.0).
  • Proficiency in writing and document management tools (O365, SharePoint, Confluence, etc.).
  • Team spirit, rigor, autonomy, and strong interpersonal skills.

Remarks

  • The candidate must have the minimum required skills and experience (roles/skills).
  • The candidate must have perfect command of the French language, both spoken and written.
  • The assignment will be carried out mainly on site in Namur on a full-time basis.
  • The candidate must be flexible and may potentially need to travel to our different business units located in Wallonia to meet with certain departments.
  • Consultancy days are 8 hours. Two fixed teleworking days are possible.
  • Monday cannot be worked remotely, on-site presence is required.
  • Except in agreement with the team manager, working hours must correspond to those of internal employees, namely:

  • The workday must start between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., lunch break must be taken between 11:45 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., and work must end between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

  • As such, presence must be ensured from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
