The Expert Tester will play a role as Test Manager / Test Coordinator within the framework of cross-functional or technical projects organized within the Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) and Business Solutions (BSO) departments.

Within the framework of I&O projects, the Expert Tester will support the different teams with validations and acceptances of cross-functional implementations. The Expert Tester will be responsible for coordinating functional validations together with the application manager and expert users. He/She will be the “Single Point of Contact” for the I&O department, responsible for IT Infrastructure and Operational follow-up at STIB-MIVB and the contact person for the follow-up of tests of cross-functional projects. He/She will cooperate with Project Managers and project teams of several small and large projects according to the schedule, organizing the preparation and execution of tests on types of projects such as large-scale migrations, deployment of software updates for client machines, integration of new technical support tools, or technical implementations on IT hardware (clients, servers, network). Depending on the content and context of the project, he/she will assume a role of coach or coordinator.

With the BSO department and the technical experts of the transversal test team, he/she will set up the automation of functional tests for SAP S/4 Hana.

He/She plans the schedule, environment, and support for the tests to be executed by expert users and provides the report of test results to the project managers.

Practical knowledge of ITSM services and processes will be necessary to support implementations within the framework of standard processes implemented at STIB-MIVB.

Practical knowledge of setting up functional and/or non-functional SAP solution testing is necessary.

Experience in technical implementation projects is a plus.

• Analyze project approaches and conduct an Impact Risk Assessment of implementations
• Search/group information around applications/implementations to be validated
• Describe or propose a Test Approach
• Describe a Test Plan
• Request or prepare the test environment according to provided standards and procedures
• Coordinate the setup and execution of tests
• Monitor the proper progress of tests with other teams (testers team, project team, technical experts, functional experts, etc.)
• Document and report the follow-up and results of the tests to both the Team Lead TTT and the project manager
• Contribute to the improvement/optimization of the testing process within the framework of the project or department
