Tester
Context
For the digitization of its business processes (classification, restoration, subsidy of heritage assets) and its asset repositories, the Walloon Heritage Agency is launching the DIGIPAT program: the implementation of an integrated internal management platform, reference systems, and data publication, allowing for the creation and tracking of the entire lifecycle of a case at AwAP. This platform will also interface with other regional and federal applications to offer the user a complete journey.
DIGIPAT will be developed on the Odoo ERP and will interact with other application modules (still to be defined, including website, geomatics, exchange platform, advice submission, etc.).
Objectives
The purpose of the mission is to assist the functional business test coordinator with end-to-end application testing capacity (Digipat and all modules integrated with Digipat) in the execution of the testing approach and strategy employed in the program: this will involve ensuring the writing and completeness of application test scenarios and executing them ahead of business, reporting test results with a view to correction, improvement, and evolution.
Activities and Deliverables
The application tester must have a very good technical and functional understanding of Digipat, so it is important for them to be present very early at the start of the project.
The tester will be part of the SPW Digital team for the Digipat program.
They will also work in collaboration with the SPW Digital project managers, the Digital and Business Program Manager, the quality manager/test coordinator of the Soolid platform, and the business teams involved in the project.
More specifically, the tasks covered by this request will be as follows (non-exhaustive list):
- Set up a business testing framework (team, method, governance, deliverables, etc.) with the business testers.
- Help the Coordinator create functional test scenarios, also write them, and structure their tests.
- Draw up compliance and non-regression test plans specifically for the entire DIGIPAT platform (+ its integrations).
- Write test scenarios in Xray (JIRA).
- Collect anomalies/non-conformities and communicate them to the responsible team.
- Participate in the testers’ community of practice.
The assignment is full-time (5 days/week), with 50% on-site presence. Note: ramp-up will likely be progressive. Example: start at 3 days per week initially, then increase to 5 days per week. To be discussed.
