Digitaal Vlaanderen is looking for a UX designer who can translate concepts, ideas, and analyses into wireframes for both web and mobile applications. Reinforcement is needed for multiple projects within Loketplatform and fits within the strategic objectives of Digitaal Vlaanderen. The assignments include developing conceptual ideas for new integrations, further elaborating detail screens in the analysis phase until they can be handed over to developers and following up on the development, as well as proactively thinking about optimizing the user experience.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a UX designer
• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with responsive screen design
• Demonstrable experience in creating designs with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Invision, …)
• Demonstrable experience with content design: designing content-driven pages
• Demonstrable experience in implementing designs in html, css, Javascript
• Language requirement: Dutch at European CEFR - level C2

Context/Requirements

Business Context:
Tasks and responsibilities in relation to the organization: As a UX designer, you work from the Central Team of the Loketplatform department on multiple projects linked to MijnBurgerprofiel and Webplatform (vlaanderen.be).

Technical context:
You work closely with the respective project leaders, product owners, and business and functional analysts to translate ideas and requirements into concepts and wireframes that are ready for development. For this, you use the Vlaanderen Design System to guarantee a consistent and recognizable user experience.

Within Loketplatform, the Agile Scrum methodology is used: you work closely with the members of this multidisciplinary team. You actively participate in the scrum meetings and proactively contribute to achieving the sprint.
