efp has been offering for several years an online space intended for learners and trainers. This space notably allows them to access their schedules, their results, a tile for accessing the various tools necessary for the training pathway, as well as a tile for useful information. Although functional, this obsolete online space no longer fully meets current needs in terms of ergonomics, accessibility, and modernity.
User feedback highlights:
- An outdated and unintuitive interface: today, 80% of users access the tools via their mobile device
- Difficulties accessing information related to training
- A lack of integration with certain communication and tracking tools
- Limited administration, where some simple modifications (such as adding, modifying, and deleting tiles) systematically require intervention from the IT service via specific development
To address these findings, we are undertaking a complete overhaul of these spaces, which will now be merged into a single space: monefp. This new portal aims to be simpler, more seamless, and better adapted to current usage, while offering new features to enrich the experience for all users.
The main objectives of the monefp project are:
Modernize the interface
- Provide a clear, attractive, and responsive design (computer, tablet, mobile)
- Highlight essential content and tools right from the homepage
- Promote communication and relevant information intended for the learner and/or trainer (news, important messages, reminders)
Improve user experience
- Simplify navigation and reduce the number of clicks needed to access content
- Make access to resources, modules, and tools faster and more intuitive
Enhance interactivity and engagement
- Facilitate exchanges between learners and trainers by relying on existing tools (Outlook, Teams), via integrations or direct links from monefp
- Provide an interactive calendar allowing users to follow:
- Deadlines for course modules and assessments
- Activities, events, and news related to the training center
Optimize educational tracking
- Provide trainers with feedback tools allowing them, for example, to grade learners, indicate their presence or absence, and enter observations
- Allow learners to easily view the progress of their training pathway
Ensure scalability and security
- Plan for a technical architecture that allows for easy integration of new features
- Ensure compliance with GDPR requirements and security standards
Enhance accessibility
- Comply with digital accessibility standards, particularly in terms of colors, contrasts, font sizes, keyboard navigation, and screen reader compatibility
- Provide specific features and adaptations for visually impaired people (zoom, high contrast mode, screen reader compatibility) and hearing-impaired people
Support onboarding
- Integrate a first-login tutorial to guide users step by step in discovering the interface and its main features
It is important to take into account that a new Learning Management System (LMS) is currently being studied for implementation, with deployment planned for the next academic year.
The current interface must therefore be designed so as to be able to integrate with this future LMS. It is also likely that some features currently present in the interface will be transferred or migrated to this new system when it is put into service.
This situation implies designing the solution with an evolutionary and flexible approach, in order to ensure interoperability and avoid any functional redundancy between the two systems.
Additional information:
The assignment may be extended for a maximum duration (including the initial period) of: 880 working days
