As an experienced web copywriter, you will work within the WebAgency team at Smals.

You are responsible for the creation, management, and optimization of digital content (websites, CMS, ...) in close collaboration with our external clients and internal teams.

Your mission is to transform sometimes complex or technical information into clear, accessible content tailored to user needs, while ensuring consistency and quality.

Your responsibilities are as follows:

• Write, translate, revise, and optimize various types of digital content (web pages, news, FAQs, manuals, surveys, alerts, and other information materials), ensuring linguistic quality, consistency, and compliance with web writing best practices.
• Ensure the accessibility of digital content and documents, in accordance with current standards.
• Define information architectures that promote clear, intuitive navigation and a consistent user experience.
• Participate in meetings and workshops with clients to gather necessary information, advise them on their content strategy, and support them in structuring information.
• Work closely with the various roles involved in projects (webmasters, UX, analysts, developers, and other team experts).
• Write editorial charters, writing guides, CMS user guides, and other reference documents.
• Design communication and presentation materials for various audiences, both internal and external.
• Deliver training sessions for clients on web writing principles, content accessibility, using a content management system (CMS), and associated best practices.

• With a pedagogical mindset, you enjoy sharing your knowledge and delivering training or workshops.
• Autonomous, organized, and meticulous, you efficiently manage several projects simultaneously while appreciating teamwork.
• You are proficient with generative AI tools and know how to use them appropriately, while maintaining a critical eye on generated content.
• Curious and proactive, you keep up-to-date with developments in your field, particularly in web writing, accessibility, user experience, and generative AI. You propose new ideas and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s practices.
• Knowledge of the public sector or social security is an asset.
