Windows Server System Engineer

Aquafin is looking for an experienced Windows Server System Engineer to strengthen our Digital Infrastructure team. As part of our digital transformation and preparation for NIS2 compliance, we are seeking someone dedicated to in-place upgrades of Windows Server OS and migrating applications to higher Windows Server versions.

What will you do?

  • Perform OS upgrades and application migrations within Windows Server environments.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with infra teams and stakeholders regarding the upgrades.
  • Assist in implementing security features in the context of NIS2.
  • Support server management and quality assurance.
  • Document technical implementations and procedures.
  • Develop backup procedures.
  • Develop disaster recovery plans.

Profile

  • At least 3 years of experience as a System Engineer.
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019/2022/2025).
  • Drafting and/or executing a test plan after migration.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server & monitoring.
  • Project & structured approach.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Location & availability

You will work 3 days per week at the office in Aartselaar, with flexible work options for the remaining days.
