What you do

For one of our clients in the region of Brussels, we are currently looking for a freelance Business Analyst.

• Modeling and documenting requirements and acceptance criteria (project needs are clearly defined)
• Creation of user stories and epics (comprehensive user stories and epics, including acceptance criteria that should be detailed to guide the development team)
• Assist with sprint planning and review meeting (help on work priority and reflect the completed work)
• Backlog Management (maintain and prioritize the product backlog, including refining user stories and meeting the definition of ready)
• Facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
• Quality assurance (work with QA to develop test plans and ensure deliverables meet quality standards)
• Training materials and documentation to support rollout of new features and systems

What you bring to the team

The candidate for functional business analyst will be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

• Oral and written communication skills
• Process modeling and workflow analysis
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and critical thinking
• Data analysis and visualization skills
• Software testing principles
• Agile methodology
• Proficiency in O365 (Teams, SharePoint, etc.) and Atlassian suite (Jira Cloud, Confluence, etc.) skills
• Demonstrated past experience as Functional Business Analyst
• Experience working in a large and complex environment
• Fluent in English
